10 BOOKS which I liked

Hey folks!

I am sharing my experiences related to a few ‘Feel Good’ Novels.

I will highlight about book’s story. Pick your genre and find some time to read it.

I. Rage of Angels by SIDNEY SHELDON (Fiction, related to the legal story)

Highlight-Rage of Angels is the story of Jennifer Parker, an attorney, whose life has been shadowed by two prominent male figures.

II. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by STEPHEN R. COVEY (self-help)

Highlight– This book provides a comprehensive framework for developing healthy habits to make you a more prosperous and effective individual.

III. The Midnight Library by MATT HAIG (Fiction & Fantasy)

Highlight– Matt Haig’s novel The Midnight Library ponders the infinite possibilities of life. This is a story of a young girl NORA. With each disappointment, Nora returns to the library, and so, albeit for different reasons, she and Hob learn the same lesson: 

IV. Don’t Shoot the Dog by KAREN (Parenting and training)

Highlight-This book is a collection of parenting advice based solely on the principle of reinforcement learning.

V. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by MARK MANSON (self-help)

Highlight– The book is a good guide to figuring out what you want in life and at work, and how to achieve it.

VI. The Palace of Illusions by CHITRA BANERJEE (Historical fiction)

Highlight– The author takes on the Indian epic Mahabharata and weaves an imaginative novel around its most maligned & suffering female character, Draupadi.

VII. The 80/20 Manager by RICHARD KOCH (self-help)

Highlight-It’s about the 80/20 principle, which says that 80 percent of results are generated by just 20 percent of effort.

VIII. The God of Small Things by ARUNDHATI ROY (Domestic fiction)

Highlight– The novel tells the story of twins Rahel and Estha and their tragic childhood and adult experiences with the Indian caste system, Marxism, love, and death.

IX. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (Fantasy and Adventure fiction)

Highlight– This is a story about following one’s dreams and embarking on a personal journey of self-discovery. The protagonist, Santiago, is a young shepherd who dreams of finding hidden treasures but feels compelled to explore the world beyond his flock.

X. IKIGAI by Francesc Miralles and Hector Garcia

Highlight– This book is therapy. (Must read)The Ikigai book is an excellent guide to leading a happy, long, and peaceful life. It helps you gain a deeper perspective in life and figure out the solutions.
